Chateau de Combis - Saint Soulan, France > Matt + Hayleigh

WHAT’S NOT TO LOVE!(?) a chateau, a swimming pool, fab friends and stonkingly hot weather!! + a sip or champagne or three…

Thank you thank you thank you! Matt + Hayleigh, what a pair of superstars you are!

I LOVE destination weddings! I’ve have been lucky enough to shoot at Lake Garda and Bordeaux this year… It’s great; everyone feels like they're on holiday amongst special friends and close family, and so it was especially special to round off the wedding season at the Chateau de Combis in Saint Soulan (Near Toulouse), with Matt + Hayleigh and the Tavy massive…

I'm lucky enough to live in France for large chunks of the year; its only a four hour drive to Saint Saulon, and of course, I hardly saw anyone on the road; okay, slight exaggeration but blimey I love driving in France.

The Chateau de Combis is owned by the enigmatic – slightly, in a charming way Fawlty’esque –Turlough; he and his team did an amazing job looking out for us all – thank you! (‘good skillz’).

The weather was HOT, did we go and find some shade to conduct the ceremony!? Nope, got right amongst it in the sweltering heat… we all survived… shooting in bright sunlight is not my favourite but with a mix of natural and a little fill-in flash here n there I think we cracked it!

So much more to say … but I think I’l let the pics do the talking!

MERCI BEAUCOUP MES AMIS!!

U got the love!! Axxx

The flowers, which were totally amazing (sorry, photos the couple of photos included don’t them justice), were from the uber-talented ‘Poppy Figue’ you can check out her work > here < and if you’re getting hitched anywhere near Toulouse in France, look her up!

Hayleigh’s gorgeous dress was called ‘Hathaway’ by Watter at the Wedding Company, and Matt’s.

The Chateau Noble can be hired through the lovely folk at Oliver’s Travels; https://www.oliverstravels.com/france/midi-pyrenees/chateau-noble/

The wedding party was serenaded on the day by some wonderful acoustic music from Louis Thorne - his facebook page can be found > here < (good luck with all Louis!).
